Huntley Variations on (mostly) Ice Theme

I enjoyed seeing your posts and the different ways we saw what was there - birds, water, sky, trees and some of the season's first ice on the shadier side. I was fascinated by what turned out to be a sheer layer of clear ice perched a good inch above the water, outlined in luminous suspended drops.

When the sun came out, then ice spotting, i was thrilled.  Not so with the brisk walk back in the pouring rain.
