Spring Sample

I'm winding down 7 courses this week, in addition to other work - I've really enjoyed being out with you in the morning and seeing your work.

I strayed from the Potomac a little...but not a lot.

I'm still hoping to work with a series of the first image of hepatica using focus-stacking software to create dof from near to far flowers (wind was a problem and I've tried it many times already but when I went back to Shenandoah NP, hepatica was over. I have an idea about a new approach to try but in any case I have an appt. with this plant next year.

Roosevelt Island

Bluebells were great but short-lived at Great Falls.  Herons are back on the canal & river, along with the geese & their goslings.  All this makes for a very nice spring.  Jill
