I strayed from the Potomac a little...but not a lot.
I'm still hoping to work with a series of the first image of hepatica using focus-stacking software to create dof from near to far flowers (wind was a problem and I've tried it many times already but when I went back to Shenandoah NP, hepatica was over. I have an idea about a new approach to try but in any case I have an appt. with this plant next year.

Barbara, thanks again for your inspiration & encouragement in class. And, thanks so much for sharing your own photos. I especially love the hepatica & paw paw. Something to work towards.... jill
