Dance of Leaves -- A Day On The Potomac

Fall met us on the edge of the Potomac, showing our group the finest colors. The leaves left behind Monet colors. Wonderful day!

Beautiful weather and photography ~ What could be better?!

If only I could spend every Friday like this!

 

The Canal at Anglers' Inn

The colors were strong and the air was clear and cool --  it was more than a photograph could ever capture, but we tried.

The roots seemed alive to me, sneaking up on the unsuspecting sapling.

I  wondered what the picture would be like if we took away all that color.
