My photos from Anglers Inn
Here are my best from last week. I would be interested in your views on
which crop of the geese you like better. I like the larger crop for
creating some context, but I think the tighter crop is more dramatic.
Thoughts???

Well, I started my day a bit later than the group but I did finally make it to the Friday photo site. Here's some of what I got.
And here are some miscellaneous shots of flora in various stages of emergence mostly from my favorite spot, Green Springs.
And a counterpoint to Barbara's earlier valentines... I don't know what these are called...but they are amazing!
I've always liked the look of this lone tree on it's tiny landmass...here it is as seen from walk down Dyke Marsh this past week.

What's left when the bluebells fall off...
Mohawk viburnum as buds and then blossoms

Cherries and Bluebells
Here is link to chilly cherries, including link to Whitman's response to the death of Lincoln (150 years ago.)
We finally had nice conditions, fair temps, wet bark, lush drops, and low wind, for starters anyway. As for bluebells, so easy on the eye, so not-easy to picture, I struggled with composition, and, by the time they became too irresistible to ignore, wind and bright light. Despite frustration missing still points due to inconsistent exposures (exposing up and down chasing the right one) they're too ephemeral not to enjoy.
I thought we were finished, then Jina spied the trunk and started again, and I found a lined trunk to love too.
These give no sense of where we actually were, unlike your big pictures with more a sense of place.
