Some shots from the National Cathedral. I found it to be a challenging venue, setting up the tripod mindful of the visitors and chairs.

I had similar exposure issues and with the overhead lights, it was harder for me to obtain a balanced composition.
I hadn't any idea, before seeing your ceiling image, that the medallions at the meeting of ribs have their own extensive narrative and decorative program. The level of detail and the depth of the sculptural program at the cathedral continues to amaze me.
I like the ghost in the hallway and also, very much, the tracery and wood detail in window image with indoor and outdoor light.
