BACK TO CHERRIES ON FRIDAY, 4/6
When I returned to the tidal basin, i found some eggs in a tree. But i don't think they are those belonging to Helen's mallard. Nest was above my head so I had a problem getting a clear shot. Sorry, the nest was unoccupied.

Wow, I hope someone captures those ducklings peeking out of the nest! Beautiful shot of the two trees and sidewalk as well!
OMG! We were there Thursday, and there were no eggs then. I like them all.
Those eggs look large, they must be duck eggs. Be cool to get a shot of mom sitting on eggs.
Love the single old tree and water composition. Oh my, the eggs are the perfect answer to the mallard. Great finds!
