spotlighted flower

Hi Barbara and all:

This morning was really glorious. I spent a fair amount of time on the yellow flowers--which I feel didn't work so well. Would love to have feedback.

Barbara: on that little flower I was working on, I attached 2 (of the many). I don't think I caught it although I could see the light. Not sure what I might have done differently.

Last week at Scott's

Shad Bush, or shadblow (Shad run when it blooms) or serviceberry - Amelanchier, this one being allegheny sp. laevis, I believe because the purplish reddish leaves are half grown as the flowers bloom.

And a new flower (for me) twin leaf (Jeffersonia diphylla). As Leslie and I hunkered into the rocks shooting different flowers the sun brightened and the petals opened. (image order a bit skewed here.)
