I was completely taken by the vivid reds the day we were at Difficult Run; these are some attempts to capture them.

I especially like what you continue to do with your modus operandi, and in this case, the bottom image particularly. I go to the red pair, then my eye enjoys unscrolling the image from left to right and the variations of form, pattern and color. It seems oriental somehow.
The middle image especially captures that transitory moment, overturned dogwood leaves poised with fungus and and decaying trunk.
The top one has a similar gesture of red branch crossing the frame from left to right as the one from Olmsted I. That one is the one.
