In our first outing of Fall Landscapes, we spent a good deal of time talking about depth of field.  Here are two similar shots with different F-stops creating a shorter or longer depth of field:

This is a good comparison. I'm curious about your data - f/step, focus distance, and focal length are the relevant factors.

Making comparison shots is an excellent way to experiment, play and get the look you like, as well as to learn more about how things work. The result is stronger intuitive camera capability and development of your vision.
