Turkey Run

On Tuesday after I left Lock 5 I ran over to Turkey Run. It was getting later in the day and the sun was very hot in places, so I focused on the Turkey Run stream. It was a beautiful day and I was able to sit in the middle of the stream to take shots. In processing, I had a problem with the hot spot in the center of the falls. How could I improve the shot?

Lock 5-Shadows on Trees

These two shots capture just a couple minutes of time when the leaves' shadow where casted against this tree. Every few seconds the shadows changed. They are not cropped, but I did warm up the images. Which do you prefer?
