The lighting in this shot is very nice and soft. I found the lighting on the other side of the river very pink. Almost a little fake. Your light is much more subtle.
Hmmm, makes me think "where was this picture taken," which means it's capturing my attention. I like the layers, particularly the two layers of trees which makes me wonder about the separation - is the canal in between - or what? Also the rock slabs seem recognizable to me as a Potomac denizen but where just exactly are they I wonder? So rough and soft at the same time.
