These 3 show essential Potomac elements, heron, sycamore, river-level-indicating snags. Janet says our heron was not really "all that" as herons go - we were just lucky to have the chance to observe in detail how beautiful the average bird is, how improbably flexible their necks can be, and more sharing a day with this one.
