Riverbend - Rebecca

For me, the Potomac at Riverbend Park last Friday was all about the mist. I thought it was quite magical the way it danced on the surface of the water and veiled the reflections.

I too struggled with the water and fog.  What I saw or think I saw was not what showed up on the photographs.  Tana

River Bend

I loved the fog on the river but found it difficult to photograph. Perhaps a filter would have helped. Rest of the park was a bust for me, especially since i took the long way around. jill

River Bend Park -- Skip Williams

A quick look at an image that I saw as I drove into the parking space. There was a ray of light that illuminated the tree and brightened the canoes and kayaks. The light changed dramatically right after this single shot.

Hand held, braced against the car with a 105mm f2.8 telephoto lens, ISO 100 which is optimal for the camera sensor, 0.125s (1/8)

Here is another image with the second rack of boats. After taking a few from the boat ramp and down stream of most of you, I moved to the visitor center deck.
