Jill, I was not surprised when I saw your name at the bottom - your close watch on swan and cormorants, the swan in swirling pool of gold, the rippled pool with ducks.
I love the evocative light, vantage point, composition and color palette (black and white tree trunks / golden leaves) over the long, long towpath image.
