Veterans Day at Roosevelt Island
Having missed the Friday excursion, I visited Roosevelt Island on Veterans Day. Due to the holiday and the cooperating weather, there was a lot of activity on the island and the river - resulting in some interesting scenes.
Nice series, especially loved light skimming waves at the little beach, also, as with Jill's next post, the creatures of various kinds enjoying this place and the rowers against the bridge and skyline revealing the busy,layered urban element.
