Color and exposure lend an unusual interpretation to the silhouetted spot. In a case when you are shooting directly into the light, it can be fun to try various angles on the same place, since exposure is difficult when strong main light is on axis into the lens.

The second image shows a relationship between and among plants. This is frequently a subject I find interesting to explore.

I find it very helpful to conduct an inner dialogue, constantly asking what the picture is about and how the subject, once identified, can be reinforced visually.
