Beautiful spring day on Scotts Run trail. Even though I have hiked this trail many times, photographing the details gave me a new appreciation of nature's beauty.

Those are wonderful. The fine hairs on the emerging leaves are delightful to see up close.
I wondered if these might be yours Rebecca. Jim, I love beech trees in their many manifestations, and your emergent leaves, especially, and carved trunk too are wonderful. I think your violets are wonderful, lively, and I like your bleeding heart too.
