First up: Scott's Run (4/14)
The reflection of the trees and the sun in the water was just perfect!
Reflections in water are "cool" even when they aren't 100% smooth...
Each of these tiny flowers was about the size of my fingernail!
I need to go back and photograph the Trillium when it is fully open...
Next up: Great Falls! (4/21)
A study in contrasts - the massive falls vs. a Cormorant.
I enjoy landscape photography, but I love flower photography!
These little white flowers were about the size of a nickel.
Pink Honeysuckle, just about ready to bloom!
Fiddlehead ferns, unrolling those tender fronds.
For Barbara ~ she's right about the details in those leaves!

Morning light on falls with cormorant, rue anemone, azalea, especially 3 fiddleheads, beech leaves, especially dogwood - exquisite expressions of spring!
I especially love the field of skunks, and also the next (this one seems perhaps a tad super-saturated)for their sense of place. The turtles - caught in the act!?
