Through the woods, over the logs, and down the rocky hills to the river, our hardy band of photographers explored Scott's Run. The hidden wildflower hot spots shimmered in the sun by the Potomac. Amazing morning.

I love your up close and personal vantage point on the phlox! Another take on the fallen trees - tells me there is something intriguing about those lines.
I also like including the river as background to bluebells.
